We just got back from a 3 night staff retreat at the Old Man’s Cave Chalet.  The entire staff and many of the staff spouses attended this relaxing and fun event.  We had a rib cookoff on the first night and the competition was fierce!  Al, Misty’s husband came in first and Kevin, Sarah’s husband came in a close second.  Regardless of who won we had enough ribs to last the entire trip!

It was a fun getaway to recharge with much time spent by the pool.  The place was large enough to sleep 20+ people… and the office dog.   We are already talking about plans for next year!

Some of our staff members had an evening out at at The Candle Lab on Grandview Ave.  We chose our candle scents, poured our candles, and then went to Third and Hollywood for some refreshments while the candles set up. 

 The candle making was easy and so much fun and the “Wow!  experience” was when our Candles were delivered to us at the restaurant.

The scents are real not artificial smelling and they smell wonderful while burning. A great place in Columbus for a Girl’s Night Out!  Thanks to the folks at the Candle Lab for a great time!

We decided to have a little fun with this staff photo and include a very special furry member of our team!  She also had on the appropriate color scheme of black, white, and blue!

We recently attended a bowling party at Sawmill Lanes hosted by oral surgeon Dr. David Smeltzer.  It was confirmed that  some of us on staff can bowl better left handed than right handed and that when Dr. Bill gets in a bowling slump… staff members turn up the heat and bowl lights out!  A fun time was had by all and much trash talking will continue for months!
